Jessence Blanc
Our Jessence Blanc is composed of 57% Viognier and 43% Roussanne sourced completely from Lodi growers, highly-regarded for award-winning Rhone varietals. This wine is expertly balanced with just the right amount of refreshing acidity to pair with most foods.

We suggest you cool this bottle of brilliant gold slightly to 60 degrees. This never-oaked nectar will fill your mouth, followed by a long finish of spicy honey roasted almonds with an alternating touch of grapefruit and pineapple. Ah, pure bliss!

2008 Chardonnay
Our new Chardonnay won’t dis-appoint. This 100% Estate-grown wine is a combination of our steel fermented and barrel fermented lots. Our winemaker traveled to France to study the best of the Grand Cru Chablis as inspiration for Jessie’s Grove’s style of structure, fruit and oak

Crisp and bright fruit with noticeable balance of creamy cara-melized oak comes forward in this wine and it finishes with a mouth enveloping fruitfulness inclusive of pippin apple and a touch of butter. Stirring of the lees while in barrel has endowed this big wine with well balanced fruit and a 20% medium “oak” toast.

Ancient Vine Carignane
From our two ancient vineyard blocks dating 120-years and 110-years old, these endeared Carignane (“kahr-ing-yawn”) vines produce a smooth-as-rose-petals wine, with layers of intense brambly blueberry, cedar and roasted French vanilla beans, finishing with a mouth enveloping structure made possible due to the ancient age of the vines. Considered one of the classic French Rhone wines, this gem is not shy to wearing gold from numerous Inter-national Rhone competitions.

Earth Zin & Fire
“A performance filled with upbeat and jammin’ flavors of blackberry and strawberry fields forever. Groovin’ with a deep bass of silky chocolate and high notes of spice.”

The juice for this 2006 “Earth, Zin & Fire” Zinfandel was cold-soaked for 48 hours after crushing and prior to allowing it to ferment. This wine has a deep opaque red-purple color and an intense nose, with forward fruit and a dense, “orchestrated” quality to the berry flavors “strumming” with exotic spice, soft tannin “notes” and an enduring smooth “ensemble” finish.

Vintner’s Choice
This is the sister wine to our 2006 Earth, Zin & Fire, originating from the same fermented wine lots. Where the EZF ages in steel tanks with oak additions, the Vintner’s Choice moves to barrel to be oak aged, adding a very different profile to the expression of flavors. Winning young vine Zinfandel and Fancy Quest Zin from our 52 year old vines. Barrel aged for 12 months in American Oak, this wine boasts a chocolate cherry nose with a hint of vanilla. In typical Jessie style, subtle hints of clove and black tea lead into a finish that is like eating strawberry rhubarb pie with luscious chocolate sauce!

Fancy Quest Zin
Cowboy Up! Our post-World War II Fancy Quest Vineyard has once again produced a rich, deep, dark fruit experience reminiscent of our Westwind wine with a silky smooth finish. Named after Jessie’s Great Granddaughter’s show horse “Fancy Quest,” this SF Chronicle Wine Competition gold-medal-winning wine brings a richness of cinnamon and a hint of spice, lingering with great roundness on the palate. Its smooth dried cranberry fruit unfolds to intense black cherry, creating a perfect pairing for the cow horse trail roundup in all of us.

Westwind
Rivaling the success of our 2002 Westwind, our 2006 again draws on our three oldest Zin vineyards ranging from 65 to 120 years old – our “Greatest gifts on Earth!” Silky layers of flavors flow across the palate, beginning a journey of heightened complexity revealing intense and luscious blackberry and boysenberry jam wrapped in spicy pepper and caramel with a hint of creamy coffee and tobacco. Flavors continually emerge and blend as you enjoy this wine over time. A distinctive style and smooth mouth feel only possible with great Old Vines like these.

Royal Tee
The Royal Tee vineyard is now 119 years old and growing strong. In 2005, these vines produced a stunningly bright colored wine that has now aged into what can only be described as a totally new wine experience of elegance and silk.

The 2005 Royal Tee starts off with subtle flavors of cherry and Cassis followed by hints of cedar and French Oak. The integration of flavors is silky and smooth on the palate and is so complete that only extended tasting will reveal them all as they unfold. Black cherry, Boysenberry, blackberry and a touch of plum are all present but not always at the same time. The elongated finish is smooth and evolves slowly from the fruit to subtle hints of pepper, basil and clove. Leave it to Mother Nature and the passage of time (119 years) to truly create a new experience.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Bordeaux ambassador is not arrogant or pompous. Generous, balanced toasted French Oak marry with big, ripe Lodi fruit of black currant and baked cherry pie to build our special Jessie’s Grove style.

Cinnamon and coffee flavors with a touch of blackberry fill the finish. Our winemaker took a leap and broke out of the mold by adding back a nice balance of Marsanne wine from the same vintage year to create the balance and depth you will experience in the taste.

Petite Syrah
Deep, blackish purple in color, this is an intense sun-blocker full of dusty, teeth-staining tannins. By no means “petite,” our no-holds-barred, heavy-lifter has a complex and changing cologne of brawny blueberry black fruit, muscular mocha chocolate, van-illa roasted pecans and a touch of the very vineyard earth in which it was grown. It’s extreme-ly intriguing with a wonderful depth to the finish. Petite Sirah is now firmly planted in Lodi’s entourage of powerful wines and we lay claim that you will find this vintage to be an eye-opener. me vintage year to create the balance and depth you will experience in the taste.
